Red check NEW! Preddy Memorial Foundation 
George E. Preddy, Jr. joined the 9th Pursuit Squadron / 49th Pursuit
Group P-40 fighter pilots in Australia in March 1942. The 9PS operations 
campsite was located at an area near Humpty Doo, giving the 9th their nickname "Fighters of Humpty Doo." 
    
"The purpose of the Foundation is to ensure that Major George E. Preddy, Jr., 
his brother Lt. William R. Preddy, and their comrades at arms will continue to 
be honored for their significant contribution to victory during World War II."
